Jennifer Aniston looks lovely with her dark new locks. She dyed it for her new movie role, “Horrible Bosses”, to show that her character is mean as they come. I must admit I actually like her as a brunette. Granted, I don’t think she should keep this look forever, but the darker color brings [...] I wasn’t a fan of Keyshia’s Cole first album, but because of her infamous reality show I did pick up her second album and fell in love with her voice. But what I love about Oprah is how she loves to keep things fresh, and she isn’t afraid to try new hairstyles. So chime [...] I think Gabrielle Union rocks one of the best weaves in the business. It highlights her flawless skin and beautiful smile. But all the praise should go directly to her stylist. Her real hair is in great shape! Here she is showing off her healthy locks on Twitter. I love that her stylist [...] Jim Carrey has a new haircut. A Mohawk. Yes, I said Mohawk. Call me crazy, but I like it. I wouldn’t dare ask the hubby to do it of course, but I feel like because he’s a comedian he can get away with it. His job is to make us laugh. And this [...] Rihanna changed her hair. Again. Gone is the Sideshow Bob curls, now she has a sleek, short pixie.
Obviously, this is a well done weave. It reminds me a lot of how Mary J. Blige wears her hair. (But Mary wears hers much better. Click here and you’ll know what I’m [...] Pink hates her new ‘do. And honestly can you blame her? It looks hideous! But at least she knows it, unlike several other celebrities who rock a bad haircut. She tweeted this past weekend how much she hated her new cut: “The woman that did my hair butchered it,” she told followers [...] Okay, this was so shocking I had to to do two blog posts in one day. (Yes, a haircut is that important.) Ladies and gents, Jennifer Aniston has cut off her long locks to a shoulder-grazing bob.

I’m a Women’s Fiction writer with two novels under my belt, Six O’clock and Unbeweaveable. Curl Up and Write is where I fuse my two loves: hair and writing. You’d be surprised at the similarities! When I’m not writing, I’m watching How’s It Made with my Hubby (and pretending I’m not interested in learning how a tennis racket is built), or I’m reading to my daughter. I also dabble in gardening, love to cook, and watch way too much HGTV.  |
