Tracy, girl you almost had me crying when I read this! I have to admit I do miss doing hair,I truly loved it. But another door has opened for me and scared as I was--I walked through.

I like the fact that our relationship has changed (for the better in my opinion) and no matter what, I can see us being friends.

Wow...you certainly do belong Mrs. Spencer. I remember the day that you told me that you submitted your short story to Essence. I was so surprised, yet happy for you. I kept thinking...if she becomes a writer who's going to do my hair? LOL!! You have come along way and I am so proud of you. We never know what life has in store for us or what door God will open for us. I must admit now that I feel a bit foolish when I think of how hard I cried when you told me that you were done with hair and that you were moving on to writing. I cried for days until my husband demanded that I pull myself together. He reminded me that you hadn't died, but simply changed professions. Of course, men don't realize how much a good hairstylist means to a woman. This life is full of surprises and can truly be amazing at the same time. In just a number of years I've gone from client to friend and now to one of your biggest fans. I can't wait to read your next book.
Love Always,

I hear you Nina. I wanted to buy several wigs and place them in my closet as decorative pieces. My husband of course shot that one down!

Although I personally don't wear weave I am addicted to wigs. I have several and I've named them all. There's Tina, Jasmine,Lola, and my personal favorite sassy Cassie. I love changing my wigs to match my mood.

Kindle? So jealous right now. Been waiting to get one because I am a dinosaur I don't know if I'll like reading on an electronic device. Remember I am the girl who used to go the library just to smell the books.

When your pub date gets closer than it'll be your time to get interviewed! Especially a beauty buff like yourself!

I am enjoying it. I love it so much I want to type up our grocery lists!

I love the way MAC computers look, but I don't want to learn a whole new operating system again. But they make some snazzy computers.

Weight Watchers is kicking my butt. Everytime I think I get the hang of it, my points decrease, and I'm left starving again.

My problem is I let myself get too hungry. By then it's too late, I forget about points and just eat. (Right now, that happens to be Church's Chicken!)

I started one with a few friends of mine. Nothing major, but I wanted to start running my mouth about all the great books I've been reading lately.

Go ahead and start one! It doesn't have to be big, just an evening of friends, wine, food, and books. What could be better?
