It’s hard to believe that women in this day and age have not tried a weave. (I know there are women out there that don’t like weave. That’s a whole different can of worms.) But to never have extensions? (And I’m talking about the whole gamut of weave, from braids to ponytails.) No weave? [...] Like I’ve mentioned before, weave can solve so many problems. I think of weave as a fun accessory—like jewelry or a cute handbag. Take Kim Kardashian here. She’s wearing a few clip-in extensions for fun. She already went through the drama of coloring her hair blond, so now she probably wants the low-commitment of adding [...] Fall is here! I’m talking about all the exciting things I have in store for fall. [...] Annoucing that Unbeweavable is coming out summer of 2010. [...] Tyra Banks wearing her real hair. Weave is your hair! [...] Women who are honest about the fact that they wear a weave. [...] Trying to grow out my hair and my novel. [...] |
I’m a Women’s Fiction writer with two novels under my belt, Six O’clock and Unbeweaveable. Curl Up and Write is where I fuse my two loves: hair and writing. You’d be surprised at the similarities! When I’m not writing, I’m watching How’s It Made with my Hubby (and pretending I’m not interested in learning how a tennis racket is built), or I’m reading to my daughter. I also dabble in gardening, love to cook, and watch way too much HGTV.  |
